Sahay Foundation Celebrates Its Annual Event with Eminent Personalities and Enthralling Performances

  Kolkata, India, January 2nd ,2025 : Sahay Foundation, a renowned national-level NGO dedicated to social welfare and community development, hosted its annual celebration at the prestigious Outram Club, Kolkata, on December 29, 2024. The event was a grand success, bringing together a diverse group of eminent personalities from various fields, including government, law, sports, politics, and the arts.   The evening was graced by the presence of notable dignitaries such as Debashis Sen, IAS, Sabyasachi Chatterjee, Advocate, Calcutta High Court, celebrated cricketer Malay Banerjee, social activist and political leader Debanjan Deb, and many other distinguished guests. These personalities were felicitated for their contributions to society and their support of the NGO's initiatives.   The event was hosted by Dr. Abdus Salam Shaikh, the Secretary of the Sahay Foundation, who welcomed all guests and ensured a smooth flow of the evening's proceedings. Dr. Shaikh’s leadership and dedication were key to making the event a memorable occasion.   Following the inaugural ceremony, attendees were treated to a special musical performance, "Nineties Nostalgia". The show featured celebrated singers Dipayan Banerjee (Indian Idol) and Dipanwita Chowdhury (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa), who captivated the audience with their soulful renditions of classic hits from the 90s era. The lively event was further enhanced by the entertaining anchoring of Mounita Chatterjee, who kept the crowd engaged and energized throughout the evening.   In addition to the musical performance, the event also marked the launch of The Optimist, a new mobile application developed to bring positive change and community support.
