  Meerut, August 28, 2024 : The CCS University auditorium was abuzz with poetic fervor as Vr4Pr's Mushaira event brought together renowned Shayrs and Poets. However, 22-year-old Priya Singh stole the show with her unique blend of English and Urdu poetry. Priya, a poetess, lyricist, and novelist, started her poetry career in class 10th and has since reached international heights, including DSM England and renowned music companies and publishers. She is highly praised by Hon'ble Governor Her Excellency Anandi Ben Patel & Prime Minister Modi ji for her poetry. Now she is spreading her poetry in Indian prestigious literary events too. Her poetry collection, "Love between an IAS officer and beauty Queen," left the audience spellbound with verses like: "I am a babydoll not baby of boy, I am a fireball not a beauty toy." "I can take round-round with ten pots on my top. I can do rock in disco & do Cham-Cham in folk."   Her Urdu Gazal resonated deeply with the crowd, echoing the whispers of the heart: "Hum chahte they, tumko batana Jo dil mein hein, Kaab chahte the tumse chhupana jo dil me hein, Tum hi ko aitbaar Na tha Mere Pyar par, Kaise lutate hum, vo khazana Jo dil mein h." "Teri nazar ka mujhko nasha iss qadar hua, Behke Kadam Kuch ase sambhal hi nahi Payee."   Priya credited Poet Dr. Tabish Fareed, the event's organizer, as her inspiration for writing Urdu poetry. Vr4pr celebrated her new upcoming book “December me Tumhari yaad “with enthusiasm- Priya aims to take her poetry to new heights by translating and recomposing her work in Hindi and Urdu, making it accessible to a wider audience. Her upcoming book, "December me Tumhari yaad," was announced to an excited audience. The event was graced by Chancellor Shobit University, His Excellency Kunwar Vijendra Singh, and Vice Chancellor Shobit University, who celebrated Priya's poetic achievements.
