Young golfer from Rajasthan, Ojaswini Saraswat, hailing from Jaipur, has once again showcased her exceptional talent by securing second place at the prestigious US Kids Golf World Championship 2024.

Young golfer from Rajasthan, Ojaswini Saraswat, hailing from Jaipur, has once again showcased her exceptional talent by securing second place at the prestigious US Kids Golf World Championship 2024. Recently held at the renowned Pinehurst Golf Club in North Carolina in USA, Ojaswini delivered one of the most impressive performances in the history of the championship.

During the three-day tournament, Ojaswini showcased her exceptional skills to score a remarkable 18-under par. Her stellar performance included 24 birdies and an eagle, one of the lowest-scoring rounds in the girl's category in the history of the championship.

Ojaswini’s achievement at this world-class competition adds another to her growing list of accomplishments. Earlier this year, she had finished runner-up at the US Kids Golf European Championship held at Royal Musselburgh Golf Club of Scotland, where she shot a brilliant 6-under par on the final day despite challenging weather conditions.

Earlier, at the 2023 US Kids World Championship, Ojaswini finished fourth in the Girls 10 category, where she shot an impressive 68 in the second round. Her performance included an eagle and three consecutive birdies, indicating her ability to compete at the highest level.

Ojaswini’s golf journey began at the tender age of four, and since then she has made significant progress in the sport. Her recent achievements include winning the national tournament in the C category at Tollygunge Golf Club of Kolkata,  winning the national tournament in the C category at Kalhaar Blue and Greens Golf Club of Ahmedabad, and emerging victorious at the Asian Junior Masters tournament in Hua Hin in Thailand.

Ojaswini's success is a testament to her dedication, talent and the support of her family and coaches. She trains hard and practices regularly at Jaipur's Rambagh Golf Club to hone her skills for future competitions.
